The Cornkeeper-sponsorship – the heart of the LAIB CHRISTI
The LAIB CHRISTI lives from people who grow grain at home, multiply it and make it available again for the LAIB CHRISTI. For without grain there is no bread and without bread there is no LAIB CHRISTI. And therefore also no bread of life.
Cornkeepers are people who grow grain at home and then harvest it 30, 60 or 100 times for the LAIB CHRISTI. How does it work? It’s very simple. At the beginning of autumn, we send you a grain “cultivation package” (for at least 1 m² of cultivation area) tailored to your needs. You grow the grain and harvest it towards the end of July/beginning of August. Then you send the harvested grain back to us and we use it to bake the Loaflet of Christ for people in need and make it available as a “host” for communal communion.
