To be a MEMBER means to be a member of the LAIB CHRISTI. Together we bake the bread of life for the BODY OF CHRIST – for our neighbours, brothers and sisters and people in need.

The Cornkeeper-Sponsorship – the heart of the LAIB CHRISTI
The LAIB CHRISTI lives from people who grow grain at home, multiply it and make it available again for the LAIB CHRISTI. For without grain there is no bread and without bread there is no LAIB CHRISTI. And therefore also no bread of life.
Cornkeepers are people who grow grain at home and then harvest it 30, 60 or 100 times for the LAIB CHRISTI. How does this work? It’s very simple. At the beginning of autumn, we send you a grain “cultivation package” (for at least 1 m² of cultivation area) tailored to your needs. You grow the grain and harvest it towards the end of July/beginning of August. Then you send the harvested grain back to us and we use it to bake the Loaflet of Christ for people in need and make it available as a “host” for communal communion.
Partner companies and organisations are members who support and encourage LAB CHRISTI through their infrastructure, know-how, but also through manpower and cooperation. They grow grain, bake, deliver and FAIR-share bread, they obtain bread as a “host” for the Lord’s Supper, they support in organisation and processing and much more.
They include farmers, bakers(ies), non-profit and social organisations (homeless shelters, poor feeding centres), as well as churches and other spiritual congregations and faith communities.
Our partners support us professionally, economically and practically in many different ways and they inspire and animate a successful cooperation for the BODY OF CHRIST in the following of Jesus Christ.
aPOSTle – the “postmen” of Jesus Christ
aPOSTles are “apostles” who as “postman” proclaim the good news of the unity of Christianity as the BODY OF CHRIST.
Being aPOSTle for the LAIB CHRISTI means connecting people but also organisations with each other and inviting and involving them in the service of the LAIB CHRISTI. aPOSTles are ambassadors. They proclaim the good news of the BODY OF CHRIST as a living unity of Christianity following Jesus Christ. They excite, inform, inspire and create relationships, cooperation and symbiosis between people, organisations and companies. They are the spark plugs through which people begin to work together in the love of Jesus Christ.
Crowdsquirrels…
…are those hard-working helpers and supporters who nourish and supply the LAB CHRISTI by constantly raising donations. Be it financially, materially, with time, know-how or in a completely different way. The gifts, affection and loyalty of our Crowdsquirrels are the fertiliser on which the grain for the LAIB CHRISTI grows and flourishes.
Cornucopias…
…are financiers, sponsors and major donors who ensure that “milk and honey” flow. In this way they create abundance on all levels. They put financial resources, land and know-how at the service of the LAIB CHRISTI.
Baking, helping, feeding the poor, organising, delivering, blessing bread and much more…. In the annual cycle of the creation of the LAIB CHRISTI there are always many exciting things to discover and do. Many tasks and areas are only formed by the respective person who feels called to animate and fill that area or task. Explore and discover which member you are in the LAIB CHRISTI.
